THURSDAY: Clouds have returned from the northwest through this morning - expect them to break for peeks of sun to the south, clouds will tend to hold firm farther north. Expect highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s amid the cooler breezes. Clouds will hold in place, for most locales, through the overnight with lows in the lower to middle 40s.
FRIDAY: Winter will have its last say on its last full day in Mississippi. In the wake of the departing low – clouds will hang around, keeping a chilly feel all day long. Highs will only manage the middle to upper 50s with a blustery northwest flow. Eventually, clouds will begin to break up overnight as drier air finally begins to slip in. Lows will fall to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Into the weekend, skies will begin to clear with temperatures beginning to rebound back into the 60s Saturday, near 70 Sunday. 70s will generally be common place next week, though chances for rain and storms emerge through mid-week.
