WEDNESDAY: Morning sunshine to warm temperatures to the 50s, near 60 by the afternoon hours with help from a pesky east/southeast breeze. Clouds will gradually increase late in the day – eventually leading to chances for rain to emerge overnight as lows drop to the 40s.
THURSDAY: Our rain maker will sweep through slowly during the day – bringing clouds and showers, even a rumble or two at times. Highs will range from the 50s north to the lower 60s near the MS/LA Border. Rainfall totals will be generally around 0.25-0.50”. Rain will taper through Thursday night as lows drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s again.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Outside of a morning shower – expect clouds to hang tough through much of Friday with highs in the 50s. Clouds will gradually break overnight Friday into Saturday, bringing sunshine back for the weekend ahead. Highs will be in the 50s with lows in the 30s. Another quick moving upper disturbance will sweep through Monday, bringing another reinforcing shot of cooler air before a gradual warming trend back into the 60s by mid-week.
