WEDNESDAY: The remnants of storm system will approach the area, bringing a chance for a few showers and storms by the afternoon. Outside of that, expect partly cloudy skies with highs pushing their way to near 90°. Overnight, clearing skies will cloud back up after midnight, a few patches of fog will be possible with lows in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
THURSDAY: After a few patches of fog early Thursday, expect mostly sunny skies with highs pushing into the lower to, a few, middle 90s by the afternoon hours. Feels like temperatures will approach the upper 90s.
EXTENDED FORECAST: A expansive ridge of high pressure in the upper levels will move over the southeast, keeping substantial rain chances away through the remainder of the work week and into the upcoming holiday weekend. This will also push temperatures deeper into the 90s amid July and August humidity levels – making feels like temperatures near 100° at times.
