FRIDAY: Our storm system will begin to edge farther east of the region, leaving us to clear out as we round out the work week. Expect highs to rebound to the middle to upper 70s with a full compliment of sunshine to end out the week. We’ll stay clear Friday night with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
WEEKEND PLANNER: Another stellar weekend ahead for central Mississippi – sunshine and warm temperatures will prevail for the region for the second weekend in a row. A cool start, in the upper 40s and lower 50s Saturday morning will gradually make its way into the upper 70s and lower 80s by the afternoon hours. A few more clouds may sneak in Sunday with a low chance of a shower or two north of I-20 in the afternoon Sunday, but the majority of us will remain dry amid highs near 80°.
EXTENDED FORECAST: Our nice weekend weather will spill over into the early parts of the upcoming work week, though expect temperatures to run warmer. Highs Monday through Thursday will run in the middle 80s, lows in the 60s. A few pop-up showers and storms will be possible by the latter half of the week.
