WEDNESDAY: Yet another quiet day of weather with highs rebounding nicely to the lower to middle 80s; a bit warmer than normal for late April. Expect a mix of sun and clouds - though we may have a few showers, storms sneaking into the region after sunset as a warm front lifts over the area.
THURSDAY: The next big thing will another storm system to bring a round of showers and storms to the region by Thursday. A few of the storms could be strong with gusty wind and hail being the main severe risks, though a tornado or two can’t be ruled out. The severe weather threat looks to be lower than the previous few events across the region – through still something to be aware of. Expect highs to be in the 70s; most of the rain comes to an end through Thursday evening as lows drop to near 60° by early Friday.
EXTENDED FORECAST: The rain will exit through Friday morning, setting us up for a nice weekend, featuring highs in the lower to middle 80s amid sunshine. We’ll trend even warmer into the last week of April, as highs approach the middle to upper 80s.
