MONDAY: A chilly start and mainly dry start to your work week – expect sunny skies to gradually get cloudier through the latter part of the day. We’ll remain cool for the first day of April as highs will only manage the upper 50s and lower 60s. We’ll mention a few late day showers, but many will stay dry. Skies clear overnight as lows drop into the middle to upper 30s.
TUESDAY: Sunshine re-emerges amid a chilly start to the day down in the 30s. A nice rebound will push highs in the middle to upper 60s, which is still below normal, but a start of a warming trend through the rest of the week. Lows will dip into the upper 30s and lower 40s.
EXTENDED FORECAST: A few more clouds will sneak back into the region by Wednesday, but we’ll stay quiet and dry. Temperatures will rebound into the lower to middle 70s. Thursday starts a parade of storm systems that will march across the region through the latter half of the week and into the upcoming weekend. A few of the storms that move through late Thursday could be strong to severe. We’ll monitor that through the next few days. Timing each system will determine when rain chances will increase; outside of that, expect variably cloudy skies with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
