THURSDAY: Yet another cold morning across the region with temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s; expect mostly sunny skies with highs pushing into the 50s to near 60°. Overnight – we’ll stay well above where we have been in recent nights – in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
FRIDAY: Round out the work week similarly to how we start the week off, quiet, dry and warm. After starting in the upper 30s and lower 40s, expect partly cloudy skies to push temperatures into the middle 60s by the afternoon hours.
EXTENDED FORECAST: High pressure will build east of the region; though a residual boundary along the northern Gulf may help to facilitate a few off and on showers through the upcoming weekend. At any rate, southerly breezes will help to bring in the moisture and Spring-like warmth. Expect highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. A few weak systems will try to make an approach on the region, helping to spark a better chance for showers and storms into early next week. Temperatures will still manage the lower to middle 70s before a drop through late in the week.
