A batch of rain with embedded storms is moving across the state today from west to east. Rain will reach the Mississippi River; while it will not rain constantly all day, expect periods of rain along with a few storms. A much stronger system arrives Monday night, bringing a significant risk for severe weather. Storms will be capable of producing damaging wind, tornadoes, and large hail late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, generally between midnight and 7am. Please make sure you have a First Alert Weather App and a NOAA Weather Radio to receive watches and warning that are issues for your area.
