The week is beginning dry and warm; highs reach the upper 70s to low 80s today and middle 80s Tuesday.
We are tracking our next storm system that will arrive late Wednesday into Thursday; fortunately, the latest model trends are indicating the widespread rain will hold off until late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, which is great news for Halloween activities. Keep in mind, isolated showers are a possibility earlier in the evening, which is something to watch especially if we have lightning. As the main line of storms pushes in, conditions will be conducive for some storms to become severe with the potential for damaging wind, a brief spinup tornado, and flash flooding.
For the remainder of the week, cooler and drier weather returns through Sunday.
