TUESDAY: A cool start to your day, but not as chilly as Monday morning. Expect, overall, not a bad day, though there will be more clouds to contend with. A shower or two can’t be ruled out mainly south of I-20. Temperatures will remain below normal, mainly in the lower to middle 70s. Skies will clear a bit overnight as lows drop back into the upper 40s and lower 50s.
WEDNESDAY: A lull in the activity, clouds will break for periods of sun to start the day, trending back to clouds by the afternoon. We’ll mention a shower or two late in the day ahead of our next storm system. Highs will top, again, in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
EXTENDED RANGE: Grab the umbrellas heading out the door for Thursday. Our next storm system will bring showers, a few rumbles of thunder on the onset and another blast of chilly air. Highs on Thursday may struggle to hit 60°. The system will begin to exit Friday, though clouds may hold along with a chance for morning showers. Temperatures will remain well below normal, in the upper 50s and lower 60s. We’ll try to rebound back into the 70s by the weekend.
