FRIDAY: Clouds will be stubborn to round out the work week in central Mississippi. A few showers may linger behind our rain maker early Friday, but generally, we’ll trend drier. Clouds will hold temperatures down in the lower to middle 60s. Gradually, after sunset, clouds will thin out as lows drop into the upper 40s and lower 50s.
WEEKEND PLANNER: After a dreary end to the work week; expect the weekend to be fantastic – Saturday will feature mostly to partly sunny skies with highs mainly in the 70s; Sunday, we’ll get into the upper 70s and lower 80s, ahead of our next front. Overnight will be in the 40s and 50s mainly. A passive cold front will push through late Sunday, ushering in a slightly milder air mass for the start of the work week.
EXTENDED RANGE: Behind our mainly dry front late Sunday, expect a cooler start to the week. Highs out in the lower 70s with an abundance of sunshine. 40s to lower 50s will greet you early Tuesday ahead of a warm up into the middle 70s. As of now, Halloween now looks a little iffy with partly cloudy skies through the day, rain chances will may begin to increase by the end of the day as cold front approaches the region. Temperatures will top out near 80°. lows in the lower to middle 50s. Clouds and rain chances continue into the early parts of Thursday.
