THURSDAY: Sunshine will be out in full throughout the day with high pressure overhead. Expect temperatures to push into the 80s to near 90° as drier air filter in from the north. Lows will drop into the middle 60s.
FRIDAY: As high pressure begins to head farther to the east – temperatures will continue to rise a bit. Expect highs to run into the lower 90s amid mostly sunny skies. If you have evening plans, such as high school football or date night; it’ll be much quieter this week compared to last week. Lows will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
EXTENDED RANGE: High pressure will continue to ease farther east. Expect a few isolated storms into the weekend and early next week. An upper ridge will shift over the region to help mitigate a huge upward surge in rain chances; though August heat and humidity will return with highs in the lower to middle 90s.
