FRIDAY: Expect a quiet start to your Friday; though showers and storms will likely pick up in coverage through the early afternoon hours and into the evening. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 90s. Downpours could cause delays for high school football games around the region Friday evening. A line of storms may drop into the area through early Saturday morning. Throughout Friday, a few storms could be strong.
WEEKEND THOUGHTS: Several disturbances will drop into the region, bringing occasional rounds of showers and storms. For Saturday, a few waves of rain may be possible amid the chance for a strong storm or two. Highs will work their way to the upper 80s and lower 90s. Sunday will feature a similar look as another disturbance moves near the area.
NEXT WEEK: A random scattering showers and storms will be possible Monday; though a line of showers and storms will be possible through Tuesday as a cold front pushes through the region. Behind the front, expect a drier air mass to move through the latter half of the week.
