Highs will top out in the lower to middle 90s. Downpours could cause delays for high school football games around the region Friday evening. A line of storms may drop into the area through early Saturday morning. Throughout Friday, a few storms could be strong.
WEEKEND THOUGHTS: Several disturbances will drop into the region, bringing occasional rounds of showers and storms. For Saturday, a few waves of rain may be possible amid the chance for a strong storm or two. Highs will work their way to the upper 80s and lower 90s. Sunday will feature a similar look as another disturbance moves near the area.
NEXT WEEK: A random scattering showers and storms will be possible Monday; though a line of showers and storms will be possible through Tuesday as a cold front pushes through the region. Behind the front, expect a drier air mass to move through the latter half of the week.
