TUESDAY: Umbrellas will likely be needed – periods of showers and storms will continue as a front sluggishly pushes across the region. Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs only managing the 80s. Rainfall totals could come up above 1” for many spots with locally heavier areas.
WEDNESDAY: The front will push a little farther east, though it will still have an influence on our weather with the chance for a few showers or storm amid more clouds. Highs will attempt to rebound back deeper into the 80s.
LATE WEEK THOUGHTS: The front will stall just east of the region – keeping the forecast a bit muddled with partly sunny skies with occasional showers, storms. Best rain chances will likely be east of I-55. Highs will stay near or slightly below normal – in the upper 80s to around 90°. The front will washout through the weekend – allowing temperatures to get back into the lower 90s with hit and miss storms by Sunday and Monday of next week.
