TUESDAY: An upper ridge to the west of the state will continue to keep our local weather a bit unsettled with rounds of scattered showers and storms at times. Expect a mix of clouds and sun with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
WEDNESDAY: A front will edge into the region, helping to bring in better chances of showers and storms through the day. A complete washout isn't expected, but keep the umbrella handy. Highs will top out near 90°.
EXTENDED RANGE: The pattern switches up through latter half of the week. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies as the upper ridge rebuilds over the region – likely to bring the hottest temperatures of 2018, so far, by next weekend. Highs will push to the middle and upper 90s; feels like temperatures running near 110°.
