Active weather continues... Storms will temporarily decrease this evening, followed by another batch of storms late tonight, mainly after midnight north of I-20; a few storms could become severe with the potential for gusty wind, large hail, and we can't completely rule out the possibility for a brief spin-up tornado. For Friday, periods of rain and storms; once again, storms will be capable of producing damaging wind, large hail, and heavy rain. Otherwise hot and steamy with highs near 90.
Storms become less numerous over the weekend, although a passing afternoon storm is certainly possible. Also, the heat will crank up as highs warm to the low and middle 90s; and with the humidity it will feel between 100 and 105 both days.
