FRIDAY: Expect a partly cloudy sky with highs in the lower to middle 90s. Moisture continues to pile up - only allowing lows to dip into the lower to middle 70s.
INTO THE WEEKEND: The heat wave will hit its stride Saturday. Heat stress levels will be elevated with heat indices cresting between 100-105°. Rain chances will likely remain slim; though a front moving in overnight Saturday into early Sunday may help to spark a scattering of storms. A few of which could be strong to severe. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 90s Saturday. Humidity levels drop off Sunday behind the front with highs in the 80s.
NEXT WEEK: Behind a front, expect temperatures to ease down a bit - into the upper 80s to near 90 to start the week. Humidity levels will stay 'tolerable' as overnight lows dip into the 60s through much of the week. A few disturbances may spark showers and storms for some Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect highs to stay, generally, in the lower 90s into mid to late week.
