THURSDAY: The heat and humidity combination will be on full display again for your Thursday. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs making the trek back to the middle 90s. Feels like temperatures will be between 104-108° during the peak heating. Storms will be few and far in between. Skies turn partly clear overnight with lows in the 70s.
FRIDAY: We’ll likely be similarly hot as we’ve been in the past few days – though, a slightly better chance of cooling downpours may emerge through the afternoon hours. Expect highs in the middle 90s; feels like temperatures will running between 104-108°.
EXTENDED RANGE: A weak flow pattern overhead will keep the weather stagnant. Onshore flow, coupled with the daytime heating and a waning high pressure ridge to the east will help to spark daily scattered storm chances. Temperatures will likely remain toasty – in the lower 90s with lows in the lower and middle 70s. This will likely a yield a ‘typical’ July 4th holiday for most; some of us dodging afternoon storms, while others may be dry and hot.
