THURSDAY: Low rain chances, high humidity and even higher temperatures will take us into Thursday around the region. Expect another day of the same – mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the lower and middle 90s – heat indices closer to 100°.
INTO THE WEEKEND AND BEYOND: Expect the heat wave to roll on into Friday and likely continue inot the upcoming weekend. Each day featuring mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the lower and middle 90s. Heat stress levels will be elevated with daily heat indices cresting between 100-105°. Rain chances will likely remain slim; though a front Sunday may help to spark a few more showers. It will take the edge off the heat a bit, taking humidity levels down – though highs will still run in the lower 90s.
