THURSDAY: Low rain chances, high humidity and even higher temperatures will take us into Thursday around the region. Expect another day of the same – high clouds will stream in this morning before becoming mostly to partly sunny with highs in the lower and middle 90s – heat indices closer to 100°.
FRIDAY: The summer sizzle continues to round out the work week – rain chances will continue to be low for Friday. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the lower and middle 90s. Heat indices will run between 98 and 103°.
INTO THE WEEKEND: The heat wave will hit its stride this weekend. Heat stress levels will be elevated with daily heat indices cresting between 100-105°. Rain chances will likely remain slim; though a front Sunday may help to spark a few more showers. Expect mostly to partly sunny skies with highs in the middle 90s.
NEXT WEEK: Behind a front, expect temperatures to ease down a bit - into the lower 90s; also, humidity levels will come down slightly too. Expect highs to stay, generally, in the lower 90s into mid-next week.
