WEDNESDAY: Sunshine will be back to mix with a few clouds – overall, not a bad day. Temperatures will sneak their way into the middle and upper 70s by the afternoon. A weak disturbance will bring a chance for showers during the overnight as lows drop into the middle and upper 50s.
THURSDAY: A weak disturbance will push across the region by Thursday morning – bringing a chance for showers and a few rumbles of thunder possible. Severe weather threat looks to be near-zero. The bulk of the rain should exit by mid-morning – though a few lingering showers will be possible into the afternoon. Temperatures will likely stay cooler – in the 60s to near 70°.
FRIDAY: Another weak disturbance may drop into the region by late Friday, bringing another chance for a few showers – though highs will rebound slightly, into the lower 70s amid a mix of sun and clouds for the majority of the day.
WEEKEND AND BEYOND: High pressure will build in for the upcoming weekend, finally ending our recent string of wet weekend weather. Expect sunshine and warm temperatures; upper 70s Saturday; nearing 80° on Sunday. As high pressure begins to move farther east, moisture will begin to return – bringing a few more clouds in the skies and the option for a few isolated storms by early next week.
