MONDAY: A quiet start to your work week; after starting close to 50°, we’ll make some big stride to near 80° through the afternoon hours amid a mostly sunny sky. Skies will remain clear overnight as low drop into the 50s.
TUESDAY: We’ll keep sunshine through much of your Tuesday with highs in the lower 80s; a few storms may bubble up as moisture begins flowing in from the Gulf – leading to higher humidity levels through the rest of the week.
MID-LATE WEEK: A sprawling Bermuda ridge will pump in warmth and moisture into the region – highs Wednesday through Friday will push into the middle and upper 80s. Thursday likely being the warmest day with a few spots in the state flirting with 90°. Showers and storms roll in late Friday as a front moves into the region.
WEEKEND AHEAD: A scattering of showers, storms may fire near the front as it pushes south Saturday afternoon with a few lingering showers even into Sunday. We’ll be slightly cooler, but not by much. Highs will still top out in the lower 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
