WELCOME TO SPRING TUESDAY: Behind a cold front, an upper disturbance will move over the area bringing with it more clouds, options for a few showers amid a cool, brisk NE wind. Highs will struggle to hit 60° in some spots. Gradually, clouds will clear out – winds subside, lows fall back to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
GRADUAL WARM-UP: A few frosty spots will be possible NE of the metro to start off both Wednesday and Thursday morning; mid-late March sunshine will do some work to push temperatures back into the 60s Wednesday afternoon; into the lower 70s by Thursday. A few more clouds will sneak in by Friday, though we’ll remain dry. Highs will sneak into the middle and upper 70s.
MORE RAIN?: Our next storm system won't be too far off; expect a warm weekend with the option of showers and storms to return to the fold. Highs will top out in the lower 80s. As of now; mostly to variably cloudy skies with chances of rain increasing by Monday and Tuesday.
