TUESDAY: Expect mostly cloudy skies with the option for a few afternoon showers. High temperatures will be on the rebound into the upper 50s and lower 60s through the afternoon hours. A warm front will make progress to the north Tuesday night, into early Wednesday – bringing a chance for showers and storms. Temperatures overnight will hold in the upper 50s to near 60.
WEDNESDAY: A warm front will push a batch of showers and storms northward though Wednesday morning. Behind the front, expect temperatures to make a run into the lower 70s under a mostly cloudy sky. We’ll remain warm and muggy Wednesday night – lows only falling into the lower 60s.
MID-LATE WEEK: Thursday will push the envelope of 80° for a few spots; most will top out in the middle and upper 70s amid a mostly cloudy sky. A few splash and dash showers will be possible Thursday afternoon. A cold front approaches Friday, bringing an uptick in rain chances; expect a drop in temperatures late in the day as the front pushes southward.
INTO THE WEEKEND: Behind the front, a dip in temperatures will keep us chilly for Saturday; highs will run in the 50s; before high pressure builds back over the region, bringing temperatures back into the 70s again into next week. We’ll keep the mention of a few showers and storms dotting the radar each day, though, as of now, we don’t expect washout days.
