WEDNESDAY: A warm front will push a few showers and storms northward though Wednesday morning amid patchy areas of fog. Behind the front, expect temperatures to make a run into the lower to middle 70s under a mostly cloudy sky. We’ll remain warm and muggy Wednesday night – lows only falling into the lower 60s with areas of fog developing into Thursday morning.
THURSDAY: Morning areas of fog will give way to period of sun and clouds by the afternoon hours of Thursday will push the envelope of 80° for a few spots; most will top out in the middle and upper 70s with an aggressive southerly breeze developing. A few splash and dash showers will be possible Thursday afternoon.
FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND: A cold front will approach the area through late Friday, bringing an uptick in rain chances; temperatures will stay mild in the upper 60s and lower 70s. The front will not completely cross the area; this will keep things unsettled with another wave moving over the region Saturday. Highs will be cooler, near 60; the front will move back northward as a warm front Sunday, pushing highs into the upper 60s.
NEXT WEEK: The pattern remains unsettled as the Atlantic-borne high pressure ridge continues to muscle westward - highs will rebound into the 70s, overnights near 60° with a chance for showers each day – though as of now, we don't expect a washout any one day.
