WEDNESDAY: After the warm front moves north, it'll open the area up to more warmth and moisture for mid-portion of the week. Expect mostly to variably cloudy skies with the chance of a few afternoon showers and storms. Highs will top out in the lower 80s. Storm chances increase overnight as a cold front approaches the area – bringing the chance of a gusty storm or two to the region.
THURSDAY: The front will be sluggish to move out of the area – bringing an occasional shower or two through the afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will likely be generally in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Skies will slowly clear late Thursday as high pressure begins to nose in. Expect lows in the 40s by early Friday.
INTO THE WEEKEND: High pressure will make its presence known through Friday and Saturday. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the middle 60s Friday; nearing 70 by Saturday. Sunday will be a day of transition; a mix of sun and clouds and small chance of shower possible. Highs will top out in the lower 70s.
NEXT WEEK: Rain chance look to return heading into the start of the next work week – we’ll remain warm for Monday ahead of our next storm system that will slide through the area for Tuesday, pushing temperatures back into the 60s for highs.
