WEDNESDAY: Be ready to step out to fairly cold air to start off Wednesday but as high pressure builds farther off to the east – expect a quick turn-around in temperatures. Southeast breezes and sunshine will push highs into the lower and middle 60s by the afternoon hours. We’ll stay mild into Thursday morning ahead of our next weather maker – waking up to temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
THURSDAY: Patchy areas of fog will be possible to start of your Thursday. Expect variably to mostly cloudy skies through the day with highs pushing the middle and upper 60s. Breezes may get aggressive through the day out of the south, pushing the moisture into the area. Rain chances will increase with light scattered activity through the late afternoon and early evening. Lows will fall back into upper 30s to near 40.
FRIDAY: A renewed north breeze will keep temperatures chilly through your Friday afternoon. Expect clouds to break for some period of sun through the day with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s.
WEEKEND AND BEYOND: Saturday will stay uneventful with rain chances holding off until the afternoon hours – temperatures will run in the 50s through the afternoon. Rain chances will continue through Saturday night into Sunday morning before clearing out in time for the beginning of the Super Bowl. Rainfall total could come in over 1” in spots with this system. We’ll turn brighter to start off the new work week with highs mainly in the 50s.
