Major changes on the way this week... For today, mild with hit and miss showers. Highs reach the low and middle 70s.
Rain along with a few storms increase Tuesday morning in advance of a cold front. We are not expecting any problems with severe weather, but fortunately Mississippi will receive some much needed rain with totals ranging between 1 half and 1 inch through Tuesday evening. Turning much cooler Tuesday afternoon as chilly air arrives behind the front. Highs hold in the low 50s Wednesday under a mostly cloudy sky along with a few showers.
The cool pattern continues into the weekend when we're expecting a shot of even colder air. Longer term, colder than average weather through at least the 1st half of December.
