REST OF THURSDAY: Expect partly sunny skies with lingering showers exiting to the east toward the east. Highs will top out in the lower to middle 70s. Behind the front, expect partly clear skies with lows dipping into the 40s; areas of fog may develop by early Friday morning.
FRIDAY: Zones of fog may greet you out the door early Friday morning – skies will clear through the late morning hours – highs will be slightly cooler behind our front that moved through early Thursday, managing the upper 60s. Expect mostly clear skies as lows dip into the 40s by early Saturday.
WEEKEND PLANS: Quiet and dry weather will prevail through much of the weekend – a few showers may sneak into southwest Mississippi by Sunday afternoon, but generally – expect mostly to partly sunny skies with temperatures warm into the 70s.
NEXT WEEK: Big changes will come to central Mississippi through the first full week of December – leading off the week will be temperatures running well above normal, pushing the upper 70s to near 80°. A strong cold front will push through by Tuesday into Wednesday, ushering in a big cool down – pushing highs to the 50s to round of the week.
