Clear and pleasant weather to start the week... All sunshine this afternoon along with comfortable temperatures with highs near 70. Clouds increase Tuesday evening in advance of a disturbance that will bring a few showers or a couple storms Wednesday and Thursday, but rain totals will remain light, generally less than one half inch. We certainly need the rain; Jackson is running nearly 7 inches below average since September 1 and with moderate drought conditions for most of Central Mississippi.
Dry weather continues this weekend with highs in the 70s both days and little to no chance for rain after Thursday.
