Cool weather continues through Thanksgiving... A few showers are ongoing in South Mississippi this afternoon and evening as a weak disturbance moves through. The best chance for rain will remain south of I-20 this evening. A cold front arrives tonight, delivering a reinforcing shot of cool, dry air.
If you are traveling Wednesday, no significant problems across the SE U.S, although some rain and storms are likely in South Georgia and the Florida Peninsula Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.
For Mississippi, Thanksgiving will feature lots of sunshine. Starting out cold with lows in the upper 20s and low 30s; still cool during the afternoon with highs in the upper 50s to near 60. Warmer and dry Friday into the weekend.
