Warmer this afternoon following a cold morning; but still cooler than normal with temperatures in the 60s under plenty of October sunshine. A quick warming trend Thursday and Friday in advance of cold front. For Thursday, near 80 degrees and dry. Clouds increase Friday morning, followed by a round of rain and storms during the afternoon and evening; that means, expect periods of rain for the high school football games. We are not expecting severe weather, but as always, don't get caught outside if lightning is around. Rain ends Friday night, then turning sharply colder. Saturday will feel more like a Winter day with highs in the 50s along with a brisk north breeze! Otherwise, clearing throughout the morning, leading to afternoon sunshine. A frost and light freeze is possible Sunday morning; as of now, we're forecast lows in the middle 30s, but some spots could briefly drop to freezing. Dry and still cool Sunday afternoon with highs near 60.
