A cold, winter like weekend... Very chilly air is blowing into the state behind a cold front that moved through last night. Still cloudy this morning, followed by gradual clearing leading to afternoon sunshine. But despite the sun, temperatures struggle to reach the middle 50s all day, and with a brisk north wind it will feel colder with wind chill values in the 40s. A light freeze and frost is certainly possible Sunday morning, especially north of I-20. We're forecasting lows in the 31 to 35 degree range. Clear and slightly warmer during the day Sunday with highs near 60.
For Halloween, partly cloudy and dry; temperatures will run in the 60s after sunset.
