Harvey will make another landfall Wednesday morning, south of Lake Charles, LA as a minimal tropical storm. It will move through NW Mississippi Thursday afternoon and Friday morning as a depression. We are not expecting anything like what's happening in Texas. But some localized flash flooding is possible through Friday, along with the potential for a few brief tornadoes. The overall severe risk is low, but tropical systems can (and often do) produce weak tornadoes. On average, we're expecting 2 to 5 inches of rain through Friday. Rain coverage decreases this weekend, but we'll likely have scattered showers and storms both Saturday and Sunday.
