Warm, muggy, and unsettled through the weekend... Scattered showers and storms continue on a daily basis for the remainder of this week, including the weekend. It will not rain everywhere or constantly, but be prepared for periods of showers/storms. The severe threat is low, but any storm that does develop on any given day will have the potential to produce gusty wind, hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rain; localized flash flooding is possible, especially in flood prone areas. Otherwise, warm and muggy with highs in the 80s and lows in the upper 60s to near 70.
Slightly cooler and drier air arrives next week, shutting off the rain and providing some humidity relief.
