A warm and windy Saturday, followed by Sunday storms... For today, a mix of sun & clouds; also windy with speeds gusting between 30 and 40 mph. Very warm as highs soar into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
Storms arrive Sunday, increasing in coverage throughout the morning. Some strong to severe storms are possible; the primary severe threats are gusty wind and hail, but we can't rule out the possibility for a few brief tornadoes. Flash flooding is also a concern; on average, rainfall totals will range between 2 and 3 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Make sure you have our First Alert Weather App along with a NOAA Weather Radio in order to receive any warning that is issued for your area.
