URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Tornado Watch Number 164 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 445 PM CDT Wed Apr 26 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Tornado Watch for portions of Southeast Arkansas Central and northern Louisiana West central Mississippi Southeast Texas * Effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 445 PM until 1100 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... A couple tornadoes possible Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Squall line will begin to accelerate eastward through the evening hours, with some increase in the damaging wind risk expected. A couple of tornadoes and large hail will still be possible, especially with embedded circulations and any sustained/discrete storms ahead of the line. The tornado watch area is approximately along and 80 statute miles east and west of a line from 40 miles north of Greenville MS to 55 miles southwest of Fort Polk LA.
