**FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT**
TONIGHT: The tropical-like air mass will stick around will clouds increasing again through the overnight hours – we'll mention the chance of a storm or two, though most will likely stay dry tonight. Temperatures will stay in the 70s amid a continued south breeze around 15 – 25 mph.
SUNDAY: STAY WEATHER AWARE through the day on Sunday as a strong, yet slow-moving front will bring rounds of showers and storms to region. A few of the storms could be on the strong side with gusty winds and hail being the primary risks, though a spin-up tornado can't be ruled out. The bigger threat may come from the possibility of heavy downpours causing localized flooding. Rainfall amounts could total 2-4" with higher amounts possible. LATE WEEK: Another storm system will drop into central Mississippi and may park over the area through the latter half of the week, bringing heavy downpours off and on – potentially posing the threat for more flooding.
