REST OF THURSDAY: After a chilly start, we'll finish out in the mild 60s by way of sunshine and light southerly breezes. Mostly clear skies with a slow moisture increase will allow for temperatures to drop to the upper 30s and lower 40s.
FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND: An upper disturbance will begin to move toward the region by late Friday, bringing with it an increase in clouds and eventually chances for showers will roll in from the south by late in the day. Highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s; that will continue into Saturday with periodic showers amid variable clouds. That system will push out of the area by Sunday, allowing for temperatures to skyrocket; into the upper 70s and lower 80s.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will stay quite warm as we head into Monday – with highs near 80° – some 20° above normal. Another disturbance will begin to enter the region by Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing an uptick in showers and storms with warm temperatures in the 70s.
