A blast of very cold air arrives Wednesday night, followed by a stretch of frigid weather. Temperatures hold in the 40s Thursday and Friday afternoons along with an icy north wind. We go into the deep freeze Friday and Saturday mornings as lows plummet into the low to middle 20s, including 6 to 9 hours of sub freezing temperatures.
A bit warmer Saturday afternoon as highs return to the 50s, followed by another chance for showers, Sunday.
