Unseasonably warm, spring-like weather through Friday! Highs soar into the upper 70s and low 80s, which is well above of the average high of 67 degrees. We remain mostly clear and dry until Friday evening when a cold front will move into the state; ahead of the front, a few showers are possible Friday night, but rain will remain light with little to no impact on our drought.
Behind the front, turning sharply cooler over the weekend with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s under lots of sunshine and a chilly north breeze. Our first freeze is possible Sunday or Monday as temperatures dip into the lower 30s both mornings.
