Near record heat continues... We remain unseasonably warm with near record highs this afternoon with temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90; the record at the Jackson International Airport is 90 degrees set in 1912!
Hot weather continues through midweek, then finally a cold front arrives Thursday delivering cooler, refreshing air Friday into the weekend. Highs drop to the 70s with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s. A few showers are possible Thursday in advance of the front, but once again totals will remain light with no significant impact on our drought conditions.
