After a hot, steamy weekend, the coverage of showers & storms is increasing...
Scattered showers/storms are in progress this afternoon; as typical on a Summer day, some will get wet while other spots remain dry.
Rain becomes more widespread Tuesday in advance of a cold front. On average, rainfall totals will remain less than one half inch, but higher amounts are possible in isolated spots.
Once the front passes, we turn slightly cooler and dry through the end of this week; highs drop to the lower 90s with morning lows in the upper 60s through Friday. For the weekend, turning hotter again with highs in the middle to upper 90s.
