Unsettled weather through the weekend... As promised, rain & storms are increasing today. Hit and miss storms will continue into this evening with the potential for gusty wind, heavy rain, frequent lightning, and small hail. The severe threat is low, but we can't rule out the possibility for damaging straight line wind on an isolated basis.
Periods of rain/storms again Saturday and Sunday as a disturbance moves in from the west; it will not rain constantly, but expect off and on showers and storms. A cold front will slowly move across the state during the day Sunday; as the front passes, rain will end from north to south. Otherwise, warm and muggy with afternoon temperatures in the 80s and morning lows near 70.
Sunshine returns Monday, followed by seasonably hot and dry weather into next week.
