Colin has weakened and is now a post tropical cyclone located along the N. Carolina coast, producing 60 mph wind.
Despite the wind speed, Colin has been downgraded to a post tropical cyclone because it has lost the characteristics necessary to be considered "tropical".
For us, temperatures reach the low 90s this afternoon under a full supply of sunshine. A weak cold front arrives this evening, bringing some humidity relief, and will knock highs down a few degrees Wednesday. The heat is on for the end of this week and the weekend; highs reach the middle 90s each day with little to no opportunity for rain.
