The severe threat is ending across Mississippi as of 8:15 this morning. The main area of strong to severe storms is shifting into Alabama. Cooler and drier air will blow in throughout the day, leading to a clearing sky and noticeably cooler temperatures. We hold in the upper 50s and 60s this afternoon as the colder air arrives. If you enjoyed the unseasonably warm weather in recent days, it's all coming to an end.
