A line of strong storms is moving across Louisiana this afternoon with scattered showers developing farther east into Mississippi.
The main line should arrive in West Mississippi between 6PM & 8PM, then will progress east throughout the evening, reaching the I-55 corridor between 9PM & 11PM. The severe threat remains marginal, but we still can't rule out the potential for damaging straight line wind, flash flooding, and even a couple tornadoes.
A tornado watch continues until 8PM; the flash flood watch runs through Wednesday morning. Be sure to join us this evening on WLBT beginning at 4 o'clock for the latest forecast updates.
