A cold front has passed through and our weather is feeling significantly cooler as a result! Now that cold front has stalled off to the south, and we remain entrenched in cooler and drier air through the day today.
Morning temperatures are in the mid 50s, so grab a sweater before rushing out the door! Cloud cover sticks around through the morning but the high pressure off to the northwest should help to clear out our skies, making it sunnier by afternoon. The high today will be in the upper 70s to near 80.
Long Weekend: Saturday starts off cool in the upper 50s, but the afternoon should be pleasant. We'll have a nice mix of sun and clouds, low end humidity, and a high in the mid 80s. Humidity returns on Sunday as a warm front lifts across the state and ramps the temperatures back to the upper 80s. A few showers and storms are possible on Sunday, but rain and thunder is more likely on Memorial Day itself. High temperature on Monday is in the low 80s. If you have grilling plans outside, you may need to scoot indoors at times on Memorial Day as showers pass through.
