While there's a bit of cloud cover hovering over much of central Mississippi this morning, I expect the clouds to slowly but surely move out of here as we get closer to the lunch hour. There's a teeny tiny chance of a sprinkle here and there this morning but it's not looking all that impressive. Temperatures will be in the 40s this morning before rising into the low 60s this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine is expected this afternoon with light northeast winds.
Sunday will be a fairly nice day as we'll be about 10+ degrees above where we should be in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s and low 70s! Yep! That's Mississippi weather in December! We'll stay dry on Sunday but the weather pattern is changing come Monday.
Monday, a front will move through and that will give us a fairly good chance of rain. No severe weather is expected with this system. Temperatures will cool off a little bit after the front moves through and then we'll see temperatures warming up again. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 60s Tuesday and Wednesday and then mid to upper 60s on Thursday and Friday!
Have a great weekend!
