Overall, a cool and quiet pattern ahead for Thanksgiving week. Temperatures will fluctuate a bit over the next several days as a couple shots of chilly, dry air blow in from the north. The first round of cool air is arriving today; we hold in the lower 60s this afternoon along with a brisk north wind. For tonight, due to some clouds and wind, we remain above freezing with morning lows in the middle 30s.
Expect a partially cloudy and chilly day tomorrow with after highs in the middle to upper 50s.
Temperatures return to the 60s Wednesday in advance of another cold front that will deliver colder air in time for Thanksgiving. The front arrives Wednesday night and early Thursday, followed by a shot of very chilly air that will pull us back down to the low 50s on Thanksgiving Day; and with north breeze it will feel even colder. Otherwise, dry with lots of sunshine.
As of now, we're expecting two mornings this week with temperatures at or just below freezing; Wednesday and Friday mornings, but not a hard freeze and certainly nothing like the frigid weather we felt last week.
A big warming trend begins this weekend, leading to very mild weather with highs in the 70s by Sunday into early next week!
Have a great afternoon and don't forget to catch us tonight on WLBT and Fox 40!
